Paul has been a one club man since the age of 10 - no other team would take him. He has played at every age group and level for the Ogs and has captained various underage teams, also winning the U12 football Division 2.

C'ship 2001 Semi-Final

Paul has made five appearances for the County Under 21 team, playing against Meath , Louth and Down. He also spent a summer in USA, playing Gaelic for San Francisco as a forward, strangely enough, since he has made the left half back position his own and has been a consistently good defender for the Ogs. It was playing in San Francisco that they were narrowly pipped for qualifying for the All State finals.

Junior C'ship Final 2001
Paul’s most memorable moment has got to be winning the Junior Championship with the Ogs in 2001. He sees it as a tribute to the mentors who had brought the underage players through from when he was playing U12 football, also to the current minor players and as well as the old heads who stayed committed to the cause when things weren’t going right. This Championship win was his best win as well. As regards defeats, he sees every one as the worst.

Not renowned for scoring, Paul regards his best scores got to be his hat trick of points this season against O’Donnell’s, playing South Antrim, and his first point for San Francisco.
